Sydney Bollinger
Sydney Bollinger (she/her) is a writer and editor. In 2020, she graduated with an MS in Environmental Studies with a focus on Environmental Writing from the University of Montana. Her creative work has been published in Northwest Review, The Petigru Review, Grimsy Literary Magazine, Hash Journal, Dunes Review, Hear Us Scream, This Present Former Glory, and other places. Her first zine, Death Wish, was published in 2023. Sydney regularly writes for the Arts & Entertainment beat in Charleston City Paper, and is a founding editor of Surge: The Lowcountry Climate Magazine and The Changing Times. She lives in Charleston, SC, with her partner and their two cats.
Running on Sentences
Running on Sentences started in May 2024 after Sydney signed up for her first marathon in Savannah, GA. Throughout the training process, she wrote about her experiences in running and in life. Since completing the marathon in November 2024, she has continued writing about running, personal achievement, writing, and creativity.
